£30 for 30 years of mjf

We need your support to make mjf2025 a year to remember. For our 30th festival we’re launching a £30 for 30 campaign to support our charity to develop new talent and continue to bring you the music you know and love. We are asking people like you to support mjf and help bring the very best of our work to life.

For three decades, manchester jazz festival (mjf) has inspired, supported and nurtured new talent and local artists to create brilliant, exciting, ground-breaking performances that embody mjf’s mission to celebrate diversity, innovation and creativity.

By donating £30 you will be helping us:

Your £30 will make a real difference to mjf2025.

We appreciate any support you can give to ensure our programming, outreach and talent development programmes are providing young and upcoming musicians the opportunity to flourish and perform on the mjf stage and beyond.

If you are a UK taxpayer remember to tick the Gift Aid box so we can reclaim tax from the Government and add an extra 25% onto your donation.

Gift Aid

Gift Aid is a government scheme that allows us to reclaim the basic rate tax you pay as a UK taxpayer. It means that we can claim 25p of tax for every £1 you donate at no extra cost to you. All you need to do is make a Gift Aid declaration.

This is my own money, I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less income tax in the current tax year than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on my donations it is my responsibility to pay any difference. Gift Aid is claimed by manchester jazz festival from the tax you pay for the current tax year. The money that we claim back from HMRC as part of the Gift Aid scheme will be treated as unrestricted funds and used to support our general work, even if your original donation was made towards a specific project.

If you wish to use an alternative payment method to donate to mjf, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us via festival@manchesterjazz.com
